1987 Hine Early Landed Vintage Grande Champagne Cognac, France

1987 Hine Grande Champagne Cognac Landed in 1989, Bottled 2003

Hine is renowned for having been one of the first cognac houses to start making such rarities as vintage cognac available to discerning drinkers worldwide, and at the beginning of the 19th century it started to ship cognac in cask to British connoisseurs.

"Sumptuous honeyed aromas announce a gentle sweetness, giving way to the flavours of an English breakfast: orange marmalade and fresh gingerbread, buoyed by delicate notes of toasted bread."

1987 was a year slightly sunshiny and Cognacs distilled this year are very delicate with note of acidity sweetened by notes of undergrowth and light fragrances of marmalade.
