A rare bottling of 15 year old Dalwhinnie,only 5000 bottles produced, specially released to commemorate the distillery's centenary in 1998. It was an eventful 100 years, which included three closures - two for major refurbishment and one for a fire that closed the distillery in the 1930s for 4 years.

Colour: gold.

Nose:Raisins and an added touch of yeast and porridge.

Mouth: Raisins and other dried fruits such as dried bananas. Malt and honeyed, chocolaty, and a touch farmy. Good body.

Finish: Quite long, with grass and liquorice . Touches of oranges.
